    I worked at MoneySuperMarket full-time

    Pros

Well rewarded for a company delivering a worthwhile service. Good atmosphere and strong management with good vision

    Cons

A bit out of the way, sometimes the direction of management changes for no good reason, always changing , great if you like pressure.

    Advice to Management

Keep going boys, keep talking to your staff, create a more visible rewards scheme and make HR more professional.

I have been working at MoneySuperMarket full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great values, fast growth and fast paced

    Cons

Legacy IT systems and culture can slow things down.
Senior Management need to be strategic and visible.

    Advice to Management

Be much clearer on long term strategy, roles and responsibilities and empower teams to deliver their best work (rather than micromanage)

I have been working at MoneySuperMarket full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very forward thinking and have a culture at least on the technology side that's not afraid to try out new things, and there's some very smart people there building some very clever stuff.
They have a strong set of values that's easy to get behind, after all who wouldn't want to say they help people save money

Also worth noting is the free food (breakfast and lunch).

The locations (Ewloe) relatively out of the way so no commuting through busy city streets, although the remoteness could be a Con for some people

Good range of benefits (matched pension, sharesave, retail discounts, annual bonus)

    Cons

Things can sometimes be a bit slow to change, and has probably relied too much on 3rd party resources, although that's improved recently.
Career progressions currently not thought out, something they're trying to change but haven't managed yet

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff, they know their stuff.

I have been working at MoneySuperMarket full-time

    Pros

Progression, relaxed atmosphere, seems to really care about employees. Multiple offices, decent reimbursement of expenses, reasonable salaries. free food.

    Cons

sometimes too much focus on yearly cycle, occasional blinkered view on bottom line which can sometimes mean innovation/best practice is ignored for short term gain

    Advice to Management

continue managing and promoting internally, continue hiring and nurturing new talent who will flourish given the opportunity. MSM is a great place to work, do not change!

I worked at MoneySuperMarket (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Free breakfast and lunch. The subsidised canteen is brilliant. I stopped eating breakfast at home and came into work for it. The only danger is the amount of weight you can put on.
Free car parking. Finding a space has been an issue of the the years, but they expanded the car park in 2015 and it's not too bad now.
Decent pension scheme, share save scheme and other benefits.
If you want to work in an agile development environment, moneysupermarket is one of the most mature in the North West. Devs get a choice of operating system they prefer to use.
The current CTO and chief architect are the best they've had in years and have really advanced things from where they were a few years ago.

    Cons

There is a lot of dev work outsourced to offshore teams, which can be frustrating to deal with.
Some of the systems a have become monolithic over the years, and changes can be slow and complicated, and this is not always appreciated by the business.

    Advice to Management

There are some extremely clever people working in technology. Heed their advice.
