    Parts in stock, clean store, phones rings, opportunity is there.

    Cons

    Not enough family time, seasoned business managers will never stay with these hours and this pay. Under staffed and cannot quickly hire. Long hours but that’s the car business.

    I worked at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Years ago this was a decent company to work for, but over the years they have grown quite large as far as number of stores they own. There are no PROS for working for this company any longer.

    Cons

    No upper management assistance, unable to keep technicians due to Low pay and unrealistic bonus structure along with long hours, no breaks since there is no staff you cannot take breaks. Stores are being run with only a manager on duty and ZERO techs... for full days.... no days off... 3 Holidays a year, that is all and no you cannot take off the day before or the day after.

    Its all about the shop youre put into. And your self mental worth. If you have the ability to overcome, adapt, take a beating from your DM for "not performing well" even though you are, if you enjoy working 50 to 60 hrs a week just to be talked down to, then youre at the right company

    Cons

    Dirty smelly run down stores 65 to 70 hours a week. Old junk equipment terrible mechanics they are the worst hacks out there many mangers are worthless drunks and idiots. stupid district managers. Low pay as well. They charge too much and steal from customers as well.
