    Pros

Nice employees/treating us temps. well . Flexible about working hours Chance to work for Phoenix after temp assignment requirements fulfilled.

    Cons

Doing the exact same work as company employees at several dollars per hour less. Getting laid off whenever work slows. Over-time mandatory during holidays

    Advice to Management

Hire temps. more quickly to aviod losing people who would make good company people.

I worked at Monroe Staffing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent training program, good foot-in-the-door for better recruiting opportunities, fun holiday party

    Cons

Fairly low pay, ugly offices, corporate structure

    Advice to Management

Some branch operations supervisors seemed very overworked, especially those who managed multiple offices.

    Pros

They gave me a week long job but after that never heard from again, although I was able to get a extra day with hard work

    Cons

It was only for a week, and although they said it may be a permanent job it turned out now matter how hard i worked, it was always gonna be a temp job.

I worked at Monroe Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Monroe Staffing is a great company if you want to learn the in and outs of recruiting. They invest a lot of time and effort to ensure each employee is trained

    Cons

Doesn't show appreciation, value hard work and the company doesn't treat their employee like they're human or indeed have lives outside of their 8-5 job

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation and listen to your employees. The bigger picture is harder to achieve without the help and confidence of everyone working hard to help the process of growth for Monroe.

    Pros

They do find you work in your area of expertise and travel distance is not too bad.

    Cons

Temporary work is just that temporary. I did'nt work long at any company, they only needed fill ins a better notice of when my services was no longer needed should be better informed.

    Advice to Management

Stay on top of their company clients, regarding their temps, to give better notices of their services required.

Great place to work! Through the years MSS has grown significantly, while still maintaining the small family business feel. Many opportunities to advance in your career with MSS, as they strive to promote from within, investing a great deal in progressive industry education as well as leadership training. Amazing support from upper Mgt.

    Cons

Data base is slow and constantly freezing up.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Monroe Staffing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Being a recruiter at Monroe Staffing rocks. In a nutshell, what we all want from a great job/company is just two things. Fun & money. If you’re a great recruiter you’ll get lots of both. The fun of winning, the fun of finding people jobs, the fun of working in a job that actually counts. And money? I don’t mean how much you earn, although of course that is important, and here at Monroe you have the potential to earn A LOT but what I really mean is working with a company where you get a great return on your efforts. That is where it is at!

    Cons

The internal program we use is temperamental and slow. Needs updating

    Advice to Management

    Fix internal system.

I have been working at Monroe Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

WHILE I WAS WORKING MY PAYCHECK DIDN'T BOUNCE

    Cons

they didn't want to hear about any complaints or problems I was having on the job.3 days before the 3-month end I got call at 7:00 p.m. that I was let go. nothing was explained ,I couldn't do a thing about it. they wouldn't bother going to bat for me. I went for last paycheck and they forgot about me.

    Advice to Management

. get your act together. payroll, wheither its current or former employee. this is # 2 on the list,# 1 is try to support your people instead of client once in a while.
