I have been working at Monroe Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They accept everyone (which may not be necessarily a good thing). There is some flexibility to call in when one has a doctor's appointment, or some other urgent matter. There are some that abuse the privilege.

    Cons

They don't look after you back. Current job location has lost, replaced, fired, all the above temps with little regard to their welfare.

    Advice to Management

    Be real.

I worked at Monroe Staffing full-time

    Pros

Great people. I really enjoyed all the people that I worked with. I was given autonomy in my ability to call on clients. My experience prior to joining was appreciated there.

    Cons

Not all instances with clients can be treated exactly the same.

    Advice to Management

Listen to soldiers in the field. They often have the best read on the market and their direct management.

Nice employees/treating us temps. well . Flexible about working hours Chance to work for Phoenix after temp assignment requirements fulfilled.

    Cons

Doing the exact same work as company employees at several dollars per hour less. Getting laid off whenever work slows. Over-time mandatory during holidays

    Advice to Management

Hire temps. more quickly to aviod losing people who would make good company people.

    Pros

I've been involved with the staffing industry for the better part of a decade so I'm very familiar with the agencies out there. Monroe is hands down the most professional & well run agency in this market. Monroe invests a significant amount of time and resources into the education and continued development of their employees. This is one of the few companies where your advancement is limited only by your drive.

    Cons

Smaller office sizes require individuals to operate with a team mentality where everyone must jump in and roll up their sleeves from time to time. Very much a family environment in each office rather than a corporate lifestyle which prospective employees should be comfortable with.

    Advice to Management

No advice needed. The management team is second to none with an excellent grasp on the industry and a clear vision of where Monroe is headed.

I worked at Monroe Staffing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent training program, good foot-in-the-door for better recruiting opportunities, fun holiday party

    Cons

Fairly low pay, ugly offices, corporate structure

    Advice to Management

Some branch operations supervisors seemed very overworked, especially those who managed multiple offices.

I worked at Monroe Staffing (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They gave me a week long job but after that never heard from again, although I was able to get a extra day with hard work

    Cons

It was only for a week, and although they said it may be a permanent job it turned out now matter how hard i worked, it was always gonna be a temp job.

I worked at Monroe Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Monroe Staffing is a great company if you want to learn the in and outs of recruiting. They invest a lot of time and effort to ensure each employee is trained

    Cons

Doesn't show appreciation, value hard work and the company doesn't treat their employee like they're human or indeed have lives outside of their 8-5 job

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation and listen to your employees. The bigger picture is harder to achieve without the help and confidence of everyone working hard to help the process of growth for Monroe.
