    Pros

Not micromanaged. Co workers were good. Pay was good. Travel was well managed by company. Some of their products work for the customer

    Cons

The company is acquiring new platforms to keep its metrics competitive with career builder. I sensed some panic at the top. Their CRM is no good.

    Pros

compensation and benefits are some of the best for inside sales positions in INDY

    Cons

huge turnover, lack of training, territory and goals should be given for population & demographics not just one size fits all.

    Advice to Management

review territories and fight with management on what is fair for your associates (and your own department)

I have been working at Monster Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Wonderful colleagues. I've built relationships that will last a lifetime. The company as a whole was good to me.

    Cons

There are a lot of disgruntled current employees who find any and every avenue to release frustrations. I get it. However, have a discussion with your managers or HR to release and not Glassdoor. Issues will never be resolved and voices will never be heard on sites such as this. It's unprofessional to write reviews "posing" to be a former employee who was the sales assistant NOT administrator, who worked for the company for 4 years NOT 5+ And made an effort to notify the company of any concerns during my exit interview . Additionally, being unhappy with your job or seeking other opportunities be patient ( like I was) your time will come. Lastly I will make a note that I am not the grammar police but it's Pleasure not please (opening statement). IMG :)

I worked at Monster Worldwide full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Biggest pro is that Sal is now out, and all of his yes men appear to be gone now too. Hopefully new employees and those still standing are able to experience something better than what happened to the Monster during that dude's reign.

    Cons

Executive leadership was completely delusional about market dynamics and strategy. Completely unaware and unable to deliver solution that solved enterprise customer's needs within the recruiting space

    Pros

Great pay and benefits. Work life balance with was great as well.

    Cons

No effort on promoting a healthy work culture and general lack of care for their inside sales teams. Very impersonal touch, you really just feel like a number.

I worked at Monster Worldwide as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice environment, free coffee, everyone I met was pleasant and helpful.

    Cons

They were once the Goliath of job search websites, then they coasted. I worked there right after they acquired HotJobs, and they were all enthusiastic about re-engineering the site, but it looked like the only thing they could agree on was to add more "features" to the point where the site got so bloated and confusing to navigate.

    Advice to Management

Simplify the site, do more A B testing, say no sometimes to new "features" because more is not necessarily better.
