I have been working at Monster Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They are a well-established company, with good benefits, I like that the development team has a maturity to it, they are no longer looking for "rockstars" or "ninjas", they hire real people who have a life outside of work. all co-workers are senior, and the culture is to teach not judge, it's a nice place to work.

    Cons

they were just sold to Randstad after a long period of downsizing, they could use a little direction and or a refreshed mission.

    Advice to Management

be bold, take chances. the team is ready and able to pull it off.

    Pros

Generally a really good working environment. Good people.

    Cons

Lack of Marketing killing the organization
Management trying the same thing over & over to generate revenue instead of facing the real issues head-on.

    Advice to Management

Monster's biggest issue is one of image / perception. Many millennials don't know who Monster is. And those who do still think of Monster as a job board and nothing else.
