I have been working at Monster Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been working in the Tempe office for just over 2 years and have seen a lot of change, but I can honestly say that the change has been for the better. Culturally this has grown into the best job I have had and I look forward to coming into the office every day. Having a good environment and a product that can change lives is simply rewarding in so many ways. Monster is evolving and as a sales rep I have a solution or product at my fingertips to position to any customer for any situation. The management team is very helpful and although they keep themselves very busy they are always available to their teams and to me individually when needed. In fact Management at all levels will take the time to help across any team. This is not an easy job, but it's sales and sales takes perseverance, determination, focus and hard work to be the best. The environment in the Tempe office fosters these elements, it has a great competitive spirit and it's a fun place to work.

    Cons

I can speak for myself and most of my peers. We are craving to find a high level of success and although we do receive a lot of internal training, best practice sharing and support from our Managers, I think it would be great to share more best practices and more ideas across all of our sales channels.

    Advice to Management

The team here in our office is truly prospering and the culture is awesome, it would be nice however to be more in touch with our corporate offices and not to feel so independent. One Monster.
