Monster’s one of the few places that you allow you to apply the PM structure of your training. Projects typically have PM, Product Mgr, Scrum, Analysts with defined roles allowing you to apply and develop what you’ve learned and not overload w/ double or triple duties.

Cons

Though it sounds organized, there’s a lot of turnover due to clickish behavior and growth isn’t available. So get what you need and move on. No more than 2yrs should be spent there.

This is a company that values it's people and really puts your well being first. I appreciate the flexibility and work life balance that Monster offers. Some of the best people I've ever worked with and an incredibly collaborative environment.

Pay is not fair. When employees leave, they almost always “owe” the company over payment. The books are poorly aligned. Quota - adding growth when renewal rates are declining Internal processes need improvement Lay offs and teams are lean which creates bigger work loads for those that are left. If you go against status quo you are not coachable and giving push back. You are only as good as your last sale In a company that’s declining and having lots of Performance issues with technology they somehow manage to blame reps Unhappy customers do not get any refunds even if their job post had zero views and zero applies. No career path.
