    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Montessori Children's House and School as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

friendly and loving staff, true to the montessori philosophy, great ratio, convenient location on S Higuera by Trader Joes,

    Cons

i do not see any cons for a full-time employed teacher. I do not know exactly what it would be like since I am only an intern but all of the teachers employed now have never complained about anything and seem to have open accepted communication.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to keep up the loving relationship that the teachers and students share, i very much admire it

    Pros

There are some lovely people here, students, parents, and staff. The kids greeted me like a rock star every day, they were great.

    Cons

Rules are applied inconsistently, don't expect your efforts to go above and beyond to be rewarded, and the building has serious problems, things break all the time.

    Pros

MCHS is a nice place to work. They offer good benifets, great hours and a generous vacation package.

    Cons

The down side of working at Montessori Children's House is the low pay. There is not an opportunity for advancement.
