I worked at Montpelier Re Holdings full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Salary, Benefits, Work Opportunity. When I got in, the IT department was small and I had lots of chance to do all kinds of work. I worked with all business users in the company to seek out new solutions to deliver. I loved that

    Cons

IT Management, Politics with project managers, Management bullying within IT. IT I felt was not respected much. There is a lot of ego within the modeling and underwriting departments.

    Advice to Management

any VP, Senior Position needs to be chosen very carefully, not just the right technical background, but a good person who cares for others
