May work for some, didn't quite for me

Lots of free food, beautiful building.
Cons
The rumors about turnover and nepotism have been entirely true in my experience. I worked under someone who I viewed as under-qualified but due to her relationship to the owner I was locked into that position. Requests to move to a team that was doing work I saw as more generative and fulfilling were seen as an unwillingness to play the hand I was dealt and I was ultimately let go.

Pros
Low pressure work place, great coworkers below executive level.
Cons
There is an executive and upper management problem at Moose. While that doesn’t apply to everyone it does apply to long tenured execs that pick favorites and have at best, unclear expectations.

Small agency = wear many hats
Sep 28, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Saint Louis, MORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great opportunities for junior employees; flexibility when it comes to remote work; genuinely talented, creative co-workers; wide range of services, so there's always something new or interesting to work on; really cool office in what used to be a church, located in heart of Maplewood.
Cons
There's a limited number of clients; the benefits are not great; internal change can be very difficult and slow

Moose nurtures it’s employees and rewards people who have drive and are excited to work. Lots of great team-building like happy hours and bowling league, plus soft close during Christmas-new years.
Cons
Really values hustle, so prepare to work long hours when needed. There can be a culture of playing “favorites” which can make things competitive.

Terrible Management- don't work here if you want something long term
Aug 5, 2018 - Art DirectorRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Cool coworkers, fun culture, dogs at work sometimes, social events, sometimes getting to work on interesting projects
Cons
Hypocritical managers who play favorites and show up drunk to work and bad mouth employees in front of other employees, lack of professionalism, nepotism, toxic work environment the longer you stay, never acknowledge the good workers at the bottom of the ladder only the teacher's pets get rewarded. Lots of immature miscommunications among the higher ups. This place is also a revolving door and for a good reason. Poor pay as well.

Would have stayed if the program continued.
Sep 25, 2015 - Brand Ambassador/Team Leader in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great pay and open ended experience in experiential sales if you develop the right relationships and are open to relocation.
Cons
Out of state management team is out of touch with the needs of those working on the ground level and those managing the brand ambassadors. Frequently stonewalled when inquiring to upper management for program specifics like end dates and state of contract. Moosylvania obviously misclassified 10-99 workers when they should have been labeled as employees.
