    Pros

I was lucky to be trained by one of their top people in my localization role.
The pay is good considering I was new at the job and I'm not a college graduate.
It's fantastic working at one of the top companies in Silicon Valley (even if you have to keep the name a secret because of the nondisclosure agreement).

    Cons

There is no job security. You are told that the client is booking you for X number of months, but I've had Moravia coworkers get unceremoniously cut for no reason before their booking is up.
There are at least three localization agencies with contractors at the client's office. This means that the three agencies can compete for gigs by lowballing the pay.
Some contractors at this Silicon Valley company are allowed to ride the shuttle. But since Moravia hasn't negotiated this perk with the company, we workers don't get that valuable perk.
Our coworkers with WeLocalize and other companies get a much higher mileage allowance than Moravia employees do.

    Advice to Management

Please work harder for us. Try to get us perks like the shuttle.
Please pay us a transportation stipend based on mileage instead of a low daily stipend. Some of us travel around 100 miles roundtrip a day, yet we are paid a stipend equal to people who live up the road!
Overall though, it's a positive and upbeat work environment and I love my job.

HR Dept is a immature, sweet talk - but no action, unhelpful and unprofessional indeed.

The lab treated people unethically. HR can't help anything but keep telling "What do you want me to do?"

So many unethical rules in the lab such as:

    - You have no "Voice". You are not allowed to say anything if it is bad. You are just vendor.
    - Can't walk on public footpath that close to iTunes Store Globalization director work room.
    - 15 mins break allowed but can't have my own breakfast in my own free time. Lab staffs are not happy to see you have breakfast in your own free time.
    - Can’t pick up any free fruits or drinks in the refrigerator. Tab water available for you. Stuffs in fridge for Apple Employees ONLY!
    - Computer screen is monitored all the time and Lab staffs use as a means of intimidating and taunting vendor staffs.
    - No benefits, No bus service...etc.

I worked at Moravia Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - The pay is great and you have a lot of leverage to ask for periodic raises
    - The job is fairly stress free. Some days are tougher than others but you'll never have to work at home
    - Very stimulating multicultural work environment

    Cons

    - Sometimes it feels like the company has no leverage towards the client's decisions
    - There are not many positions to move upwards
    - Although you share the work in the client's office building you don't have many of the perks the client's employees have (like shuttle buses to get to work). Expected but sometimes a bit frustrating

    Pros

Job expectations were very clear. Almost no unnecessary contact, meetings, etc. Pay is decent for those who are able to work at a quick pace. Extremely flexible schedule. All that is required is that producers meet the target they set for themselves.

    Cons

The biggest con is that producers were told in January 2016 that the position would last for at least a year. Then, it was suddenly ended in February. There was no notice, and almost no explanation. This employer is not right for a person who needs guidance, human contact, a pat on the back, or any sort of feedback or recognition.

    Advice to Management

Honesty and transparency about the status of a project would be appreciated. Also, when free-lancers are required to read new documentation, pay them a nominal amount and give them a basic quiz. When editing content, it was obvious that many were not really reading the documentation as they wanted to dive right into doing something for which they were compensated. This led to sub-par work. Who knows? Maybe that's why the contract for the project I was on was ended by the client.

I worked at Moravia Worldwide full-time

    Pros

Great growth and advancement opportunities, unbelievable benefits even for a larger family, interesting clientele to work with, good opportunities for innovation and creative thinking. Definitely in the "big leagues" of vendor-side localization. I built a great network from my contacts through Moravia.

    Cons

Strange hours sometimes required. Worldwide network means that most of your connections are via email/skype/phone, not a lot of office culture or unique company personality in the US, but definitely some big-company politics to deal with, which can be difficult when you can't meet with the decision makers face to face.

I have been working at Moravia Worldwide full-time

    Pros

They provide localization service to a good IT firm
    They pay relatively well
They try to maintain you in projects

    Cons

    Problems with communication
    Take too long to answer
    Don't give feed back
Their managers on site most of the time are there not because of their competence, and they might be very incompetent.

    Advice to Management

Treat better you employees and communicate better with them
