I have been working at Moret Group full-time

    Pros

Depends on which division you work for: laid back, managers dont look over your shoulder all day, work attire is relatively casual but depends on your position (sales positions and those w/meetings dress more formal), flexible with needing to leave early or come in late (for dr appts, etc), everyone is very nice and welcoming, a lot of built in holidays off, winter fridays (leave depending on when the sun sets), summer fridays (leave at 2 or 3), fun holiday party at end of the year. Many people stay at the company for 5+ years so you get very close to your coworkers.

    Cons

Not much advancent, raises and bonuses- not given freely- must ask. Many of the higher positions are filled by family members of the community.

    Advice to Management

Give bonuses and raises for those that deserve so that they feel appreciated and acknowledged for their hard work. Otherwise its a great place to work!

I worked at Moret Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun working environment, casual dress, great coworkers, learned a lot

    Cons

Cheap and no room for growth, sure you learn but no raises and the explaination that there's no money. The hosiery division has managers that don't fight for their employees and in turn it keeps valuable people down. That along with long hours sure it's part of the job, but feeling guilted into staying isn't great.

    Advice to Management

Quit pinching pennies and pay valuable workers they're worth. Let managers actually manage and allow their workers to grow.

    Pros

Jewish holidays, Summer Fridays, laid back culture. Fairly professional, even though not corporate. Nice, talented coworkers.

    Cons

Low-balls with salary. does not recognize talent (no significant raises). No upward mobility. Not very creative. Good place to start out but then move on. has significant lay offs time to time due to budget cuts.

    Advice to Management

notice good talent, offer raises if it is deserved.

I worked at Moret Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Somewhat laid back environment. You can work independently and without being micromanaged . There really aren't any more pros at this company

    Cons

If you're not in "the community" the company owners have absolutely no loyalty to you and you WILL be the scapegoat if something goes wrong . No advancement if you're not family or community. Use this company as a learning experience and move on to a company where you can have a future

    Advice to Management

Don't keep giving big jobs to incompetent people because they're in the community

    Pros

A lot of holidays off. Summer Fridays leave early. Great holiday party where they giveaway great prizes even cars. Winter Fridays leave early.

    Cons

Nepotism. All the upper management is related in some way. No room for growth if you come from outside of their community. Most of (if not all) the upper management are males.

I have been working at Moret Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Perfect for the eager and restless mind that is constantly on the hunt to discover new methods of pushing the boundaries in fashion, art, graphics, advertising, and social media. Sprayground is is a rebellious company which has earned a following in the urban, fashion, music, sports, and youth. The merchandise is unique and good quality with only promises of expansion.

    Cons

With a start up every day is a learning process, nothing is set in stone. You are expected to put in an excessive amount of intuition and ambition to achieve your daily goals. Everyday is exciting, however if you are behind the small company falls behind. Those who work at sprayground are expected to stay a half hour later than others within the department. Most of the time you end up staying 2 hours overtime unpaid to finish up your work. Me being a commuter this puts a huge strain on my life outside of work. Not only am I not being paid for my extra efforts but I must use most of my income to pay for my transportation just so i can make it to bed,get up, and do it all over again.

    Advice to Management

More structure. There are many goals that are made but never kept. Many expectations that are put on an employee that the overall goal can be lost within the many tasks an assignments that are put upon the various teams within the company.

    Pros

Great people, good working relationship, you learn a lot from beginning process to the end process. Great starter for career

    Cons

No room for advancement, salary should be higher. Good company to start your career at

    Advice to Management

The management is very nice and work with you however someone of them micromanage and don't let you in the field alone.
