I have been working at Moreys' Pier part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Meeting people from all over the world, great work environment, learn customer service, easy to move up to a supervisor if you put in the work entailed, you live by the beach, reasonable with off days, long hours=more money

    Cons

the heat, but what do you expect working outside down the shore?(they do provide cold water and adequate breaks)

    Advice to Management

ask for more employee feedback, but don't change drastically

I worked at Moreys' Pier full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

People are great! The training is great, they are making sure everyone knows what they have to do and that they do it right.

    Cons

Money is not that good, it's the minimum wage so if you are in it for the money it's problably not the best place to be.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! The management is great, it is obsvious that they have been doing this for awhile and they know what they're doing, you will find that they are very pleasent people to work with and also fair.

I worked at Moreys' Pier full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

CEO is a nice guy who is has an active presence on the pier. It is also a beatiful and fun environment to Both live and work in as long as you attain your own housing.

    Cons

Most managers are uneducated former hourly employees who have never managed anything in their lives. Unfair labor practices as they house 4 employees in apartments the size of dorm rooms for the summer.

    Advice to Management

Actually hire people who know how to manage. Beyond that actually listen to the employee, don't treat them like they're just another number on a time sheet.

I worked at Moreys' Pier full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The young people and international students brought into work make it an enjoyable atmosphere. Some perks include free ride and water park admissions, discounted food, and discounted ticket prices for friends and family.

    Cons

Long hours in the hot sun, employee discount on food is a joke.

I have been working at Moreys' Pier part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I'm currently working at Morey's Piers as a games operator (summer job, still in high school). I like that I get a season pass for the summer (even though I haven't had a weekend off to try it yet. Chuck is pretty cool, and so are alot of the other people I work with (there's a black guy with dreads that I talk to every now and then, and he's one of my bosses but I don't know his name, but he's cool as hell).

    Cons

Training isnt very in depth. I was talked through the games and then thrown into a booth on memorial day weekend. Wish I could stay in a game for more than 20 minutes without being switched again. The candy wheel is by far the worst game ever, I hate doing it and I'm always put onto it.

    Advice to Management

My first day was very poorly handled by management. From getting the time of my training wrong, to telling me at 3 PM that I was working at 5 when I was told all week that I wasn't working that day or weekend, and then just making me jump into a game and already know everything. The schedule is never posted by the time I leave on Sunday so that's very annoying. Hard to communicate with the management if they rarely answer phone calls or text messages. Communication needs to be better.

I worked at Moreys' Pier part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I found there great colleagues - people from all over the world, free access to rides, support in finding housing if you are international, contests and prizes, fun parties. You get a bonus if you respect the ending time on contracts.

    Cons

They do send you home early if there are not enough people on rides, so you might want to consider that,. However, if you signed anything that says min 40 hours per week, you will get them.

    Advice to Management

Should consider getting a second job within Morey's more easily for employees.
