I have been working at Morgan McKinley full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Been a great start to life at Morgan McKinley, my immediate team have been amazing at give me all the support I need as well as encouraging me to jump on at the deep end when possible. The wider office has been great as well, I immediately felt like another member of the team even with people I didn't know. With the constant high level training and growth opportunities I am excited to be at Morgan McKinley for a long time.

    Cons

I don't have any cons to report as there have been none so far.

I worked at Morgan McKinley full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great location and had a good bunch of colleagues from various recruitment firms. It was a good environment to really learn from some top billers around the region. Commission was transparent and definitely a lot higher than the bonus houses on the market. Would recommend for experienced successful recruiters.

    Cons

There were a lot of industry best practices that are missing from this company. The recruitment system used is also a dinosaur from the 90s. Formal training is minimal which makes it very hard for fresh graduates to succeed and hence, the manager made a huge difference. The new senior management is also very bias, subjective, and a fan of politics.

    Advice to Management

    More self awareness

I have been working at Morgan McKinley full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Professional, people are motivated and the rivalry is friendly. Flexible in terms of hours as long as you do what is required of you.
Excellent environment, the company is giving you all the tools you need to succeed.
There is no better recruitment firm in Tokyo.

    Cons

Perhaps the commission system could be a little better, other firms have higher % but when balanced against all the negatives they also offer I think MMK is balanced.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good job. I look around and see happy people everyday. I rarely hear gossip or rumours and everyone is professional. This comes from good leadership and choosing the right people who will fit in with the culture. Keep it up.
