    It can get all the resources of Morgan Stanley which is definitely an advantage over its competitors.

    China capital market is still under construction, and there are little derivatives can be traded compared to US market.

    Pros

    GCM has less work load than IBD; same good pay however; not much deal working on it. Many women in the beijing office, OK for the sales team

    Cons

    The leader of the department leave, so without the core member of the department, it is hard to say its future.

    Pros

    Very nice people, the managers are very friendly and kind, as well as the coworkers. People like to share some experience and knowledge. Good temporary or beginning job, as long as you do a good job, everyone is happy

    Cons

    Opportunities for advancement were very political. Sometimes the whole department is under great pressure, but I guess it's the common among investment department. The working environment is depend on the manager's wills, so if you have a good manager, you will enjoy it; if not, good luck..
