I worked at Morgan Stanley full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They are greedy like the rest of Wall Street. Given the opportunity they will overcharge clients and underpay the help. Skip it if you can.

    Cons

The cons are the same as the pros. The greed knows no limit and if you like to overpay for advice you've come to the right place.

I worked at Morgan Stanley as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Morgan Stanley has strong brand recognition, their corporate reach has extended to good corporate benefits, and there is a lot of freedom in the job, you are in control.

    Cons

Firm is slow with paperwork and teams are not collaborative. Traditional corporate structure creates a lot of disconnect between teams, divisions and branches.

    Advice to Management

Incorporate new technology to optimize sales strategies, bring the company into this decade. Too much disconnect from head corporate office and every other branch.
