I worked at Morgan Stanley as an intern

    Pros

Couldn't have asked for a better first work experience. I was very nervous going into my first day of work but every professional there was so generous and understanding.

    Wish I could've stayed longer.

I worked at Morgan Stanley as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Very rewarding experience, surrounded by so many knowledgable people. I came in with little knowledge of finance and learned an incredible amount.
Developed finance, critical thinking, and communication skills.

    Cons

It seems like a difficult place to go up the ladder. A lot of people working there have been in the same position for many years and seem content staying in the same spot.

    Advice to Management

Create a more developed intern program, although interns work for individual brokers, would make it more enjoyable if there was more structure.

    Pros

The team. Loved the atmosphere. Absolutely loved my manager. Also loved the wholesalers with free lunch almost everyday.
