    They have a very nice friendly and positive working environment. It is also nice to work with friendly people in the hotel.

    Cons

    There is no room for mistakes when it comes to serving high guests.

    Pros

    This is a great place to work!! FULL management staff who are very knowledgeable and helpful to employees. Great benefits for working for Morgans Hotel Group. Amazing staff incentives for the Front Desk agents. (Up-sells, late checkouts, etc) Pretty good starting pay, I would say for a hotel in LA. Free staff parking off-site about a block away from the hotel, and 24/7 Shuttle going to and from the parking lot. One meal per shift. This place takes care of their employees. Very sad to be leaving this establishment.

    Advice to Management

    My advice to management is just to keep doing what youre doing! I absolutely loved this place, and it is by far the best company i have ever worked for. Thanks to all the management staff and everyone else in between!

    Pros

    I work at the famous boutique hotel, Delano ! I love, love, love it! My coworkers are amazing and the job its self as an order taker is not hard at all. I enjoy my work to the point as a first year biology major college student, I am considering changing my major towards the hospitality branch (business). Its all about working your way up and I can see my self soon as a Food and Beverage Director!

    Cons

    Honestly the only cons I have regarding the job, is parking! Funny how its not even my job that's the problem, its Miami Beach and how you have to pay for parking

    Pros

    Nice people and fun place to work. They care about there employees. Free lunch. Great employee discounts. Trendy decor.

    Cons

    Parking is expensive. Too many meetings. They is pretty much it. Great place to work at. Nothing negative to say.

    Advice to Management

    Give free parking to your employees and more people will want to work there. Stick to 1 or 2 meetings a weeks not 10.

    Morgans treats their employees really well, management has it together and knows how to boost moral. Overall one of the best companies I've been with.

    Pros

    Morgans Hotel Group has a great company culture with a fun history. The people are awesome, pay is competitive, and there is opportunity to grow if you put in the effort.

    Cons

    Benefits are poor for non-union employees. Particularly, vacation time off and health plan options are among the worst in the industry.

    Advice to Management

    It can be very unsettling to work for a company that doesn't have a CEO or a clear company strategy/direction.
