Free Drinks Every Shift, Guaranteed hours, $15/hr, Near Downtown.

Managers don't care about you. Reports to HR go into the trash. Customers are extremely rude due to stress. (Doctors, nurses, patients, visitors, etc. Hospital location) Extremely rude Supervisor, to employees AND customers. Place is filthy and has roaches. Employees wont clean because everyone expects others to do it. Its always someone else's job because "we have no time. We are busy." Failed Health inspections numerous times. Free coffee but no one drinks it because we know how filthy the machines and equipment are. The shop is only closed for 3 hours a day. PERIOD. Regardless of staffing or emergencies- Managers will explode if shop is closed for any reason. Supervisors have to cover ALL call outs and that makes them irritable. Anyone who is step above you will lecture you, snap at you, and make your life miserable. Most of which have no idea how the coffee shop is ran.

Runs like a yard sale

Zero employee appreciation. Paying out of pocket for food service workers week because I was told our budget was “$0” Including management appreciation, there was none. Not even a Christmas card. Working day after day short staffed and budget cuts make for a very unhappy environment. Fighting for months to have employees paid a livable wage only to be shut down time after time. Upper management is unethical and simply looks the other way when serious offenses occur. It truly does not matter what sacrifices you make over the years for the betterment of your team. At the end of the day we are all just dots with a dollar sign. After working straight through Covid with Zero appreciation and realizing the post Covid work situation was way worse. Morrison better really look into those robots because their actions have only shown the fall of healthcare food service.

Soooo much walking Some patients are grouchy which understandable they are in the hospital but be warned This job is a union so it takes a lot to fire a person.
