To be able to work in food service and still maintain a career and home life balance. Competitive wages. Great corporate support with people and documentation. I have worked for Morrisons 20 years and have never asked to be promoted or asked for a raise. They take care of their employees. I have been promoted five times in the past twenty years. Morrisons genuinely cares about their team members. There are many growth opportunities within the company. We have over 1000 health care facilities throughout the country.

Morrison is part of Compass Group USA which provides employees access to many job opportunities and potential career advancement. Corporate structure is quite stable and mostly everyone in the team happily make themselves available to others as a resource for help. Leadership at the regional and executive level are down to earth and unpretentious. Work/life balance is easily attained and is more encouraged in this company than many others I've worked for.

Cons

Healthcare industry service jobs will be difficult for those who cannot handle working with sick or dying patients and high strung doctors and nurses. Always have to be on your toes and not miss a beat, having a constant cheery demeanor which can get exhausting.
