Great project types to have on resume. Doesn’t relocate people. Great safety culture and core values.
Compensation is not competitive. Salary, Bonus and profit sharing is very weak in comparison to other places. Extremely long work days. Lack of engagement between sr. Leadership and project sites.

On the management end (non-field operations), Mortenson is a solid company to work for. The Phoenix location has a small-business feel and there is generally a lot of support for you in your role. There are great perks and the company is very committed to creating a positive culture. Benefits are good, salary is good. They also pay overtime.
Your upward mobility is typically pretty defined so role changes or diversity in what you do is hard to achieve. You will work weekends. You will work late.

Mortenson has the best family culture that shows that it really cares about its people. Everything they do is to ensure the safety culture stays
Positions other than operations are not as valued.

Very progressive for a construction company. Emphasizes on inclusivity and diversity. Cares about well being of the employees
Sometimes the awesome company culture is not seen on to the construction sites (relative to the offices). Better training for quality installation is needed and is the main source of long work hours.
