    Nice Place to Work

    Pros

Great leadership. Has the resources of a big company but still feels like a small company. Leadership seems humble and cares about the people. The CEO will say hi to you and might even sit at your table in the cafeteria. Pay is above average in my experience. It feels like they really try to pay people as much as they can and give out nice bonuses when the company does well.

    Cons

The bigger they get, the more silos are created. Operating groups don’t work well together. There’s always bickering and infighting when more than one operating group is involved. I got tired of hearing each group constantly ripping another group in meetings. I was told when I hired on that it is very easy to transfer operating groups if you want. That was a farce in my case.

    Great Culture, Endless Opportunity

    Pros

Great team locally. Senior leadership group is solid and the company focuses on promoting from within. The significant effort that is required of you to complete your work will be recognized by management, sometimes it takes patience, but the grass isn't always greener, folks. All staff are generally highly motivated and the output shows this. Another great feature of this company is the national scale and breadth of sectors they are involved with. If you desire to construct a wind farm, for example, let it be known and you will be on your way.

    Cons

This is a process heavy company and this can be daunting for mid-career project managers used to the free-wheeling ways of many companies. Multiple tiers and top-heavy structure can make it a long climb up the ladder.

    Pros

Large complex projects are great to work on. Family owned values can still be seen in the quality staff. Most Leadership is accessible.

    Cons

Communication on company business has been sporadic. Team members need to be better informed of operational goals not just project updates.

    Marketing Coordinator

    Pros

The senior leadership of the company has strong work ethic values and tries to foster an environment of collaboration and team work. It's great the company is private and family-owned.

    Cons

If you do not work in operations, you are practically invisible to your group leaders. It is difficult to prove your worth if you are not on a project site or directly signing contracts.

    Pros

Great company with a great training platform. Overall great leadership. One of the best benefits package of the industry.

    Cons

The performance evaluation review is not always taken in consideration but seems to be defined by certain people that not always provide the most accurate feedback as didn't really get involved with people direct responsibilities.
