I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great benefits, especially health insurance.

    Cons

Higher level employees did not always do the higher level work. The supervisor played favorites. The supervisor's friends had the better jobs even though they were not qualified or capable of doing their jobs. Other employees did their work for them and they took the credit. Effort was never appreciated and it was impossible to get a promotion when it was deserved without being one of her best friends.

    Pros

Good pay, plenty of hours, room for career advancement

    Cons

After the transition to 12 hour shifts there was no room for flexibility with schooling, caddy nursing staff, management did not care for PAS team at all, short staffed and can be stressful working AND TRAINING alone.

I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The staff from nonclinical to professional/clinical are positive and truly care about the patient and the patient outcomes, given little support, long hours and understaffing.

    Cons

Mark Laney is not a community-based CEO, meaning he doesn't put back into the community what he takes out. He needs to be fired. From Senior Leadership on day one, he stated his goal was to 'weed out' staff with longevity/experience (call it age-out), which leaves inexperienced staff trying to make the system work (not to mention a discrimination suit waiting to happen). Management constantly threatens staff with their job, adding onto the daily stress (bullying). Overall a bad, no horrible working environment. Fire Mark Laney and Mike Pulido and hire or rehire management that is community-based and whose focus is on the patient and the bottom line.

    Advice to Management

    As stated above.

I have been working at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

*The staff are welcoming and friendly
    *The benefits are phenomenal
    *Patients do come first here

    Cons

*All the things I loved about Mosaic are going away. Once a very progressive, value based organization, they are now becoming more revenue cycle focused. Not only is this going directly against what the rest of the country is doing, but it is disheartening to see an organization I love this much turn away from the core values that brought me here to begin with.

    Advice to Management

Consider what your decisions do to others in the organization and look at the big picture. Identify and celebrate leaders who make a difference and want to help the organization grow.

I worked at Mosaic Life Care (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very innovative thinking and approach to health care.

    Cons

Significant turnover of people and short sighted launch of new approach to health care made for unstable work environment.

    Advice to Management

Listen more closely to employees who are on the front line of delivering services.

I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice looking facilities. Decent salary but very long hours. Not many opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

Company doesn't practice what it practices to the public as far as work life balance, health and wellness. No real direction from senior leadership. Everyone is in panic mode since it's top heavy;seems like everyone is on the leadership team.

    Advice to Management

Stop and listen to employee feedback. Pick a lane with your service line offerings and then go deep.
