I have been working at Mosaic Life Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits and co-workers. Self scheduling, plenty of overtime available with incentive pay. PTO and ESL. Sunshine personal assistant available to all employees with awesome perks.

    Cons

Floating to other units when needed, not really a con but it is something no one is really excited to do.

    Pros

    The organization cares about retention

    Cons

They don't seem to want to use wages to help with retention.

    Advice to Management

Higher wages for bedside staff, medical staff gets 45% higher wages while clinical staff gets almost the same percentage less than average.

I have been working at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Solid Pay, Great Learning Atmosphere, I love the staff. A great place for a new LPN graduate to get experience and build a career.

    Cons

Not always able to work as much as you want, few overtime opportunities, unclear review process

    Advice to Management

If team leaders are going to do annual reviews maybe they should work with their staff occasionally to see them in action, Night shift nurses rarely if ever see a team leader or ATL for that matter.

I have been working at Mosaic Life Care (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, most departments work well together, able to understand when you take a problem directly to the top

    Cons

Too many managers between the staff and the service leader. OOP max is too high for the average employee, needs to be more patient focused and less financial focused. You cannot chase money and win, you must chase the patient to help them and the money will follow.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff, some people do actually know more about the job they have been doing, than those that have never done it. Stop talking and start listening! Things may work out better than you anticipate.

I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time

    Pros

My staff was wonderful. The idea behind Mosaic was great too, just not executed well.

    Cons

Upper management did not seem to be educated in what actually happens in the clinic on a day-to-day basis.

    Advice to Management

Educate yourselves and spend time in the areas you are trying to control. Invest in your good employees.
