I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The staff from nonclinical to professional/clinical are positive and truly care about the patient and the patient outcomes, given little support, long hours and understaffing.

    Cons

Mark Laney is not a community-based CEO, meaning he doesn't put back into the community what he takes out. He needs to be fired. From Senior Leadership on day one, he stated his goal was to 'weed out' staff with longevity/experience (call it age-out), which leaves inexperienced staff trying to make the system work (not to mention a discrimination suit waiting to happen). Management constantly threatens staff with their job, adding onto the daily stress (bullying). Overall a bad, no horrible working environment. Fire Mark Laney and Mike Pulido and hire or rehire management that is community-based and whose focus is on the patient and the bottom line.

    Advice to Management

    As stated above.

I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice looking facilities. Decent salary but very long hours. Not many opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

Company doesn't practice what it practices to the public as far as work life balance, health and wellness. No real direction from senior leadership. Everyone is in panic mode since it's top heavy;seems like everyone is on the leadership team.

    Advice to Management

Stop and listen to employee feedback. Pick a lane with your service line offerings and then go deep.

I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time

    Pros

Initial training was excellent when I started in 2013. 4 weeks of training which was something I had never received at a new job as a nurse. Benefits were good and if you declined benefits you get a 15% pay increase. Compensation was good for nurses.

    Cons

Leadership/management was terrible and not experienced in the field and without any support from upper management when needed. Which left those of us with experience trying to help managers that had no idea what they were doing and trying to help lead the team without any authority/title to lead. All leading to frustration and poor job satisfaction.

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced managers in the healthcare field and ensure they have enough support from upper management. Give actual leadership roles to qualified candidates on the clinic floor to help direct flow and assist and train caregivers.

I worked at Mosaic Life Care full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits for the area but it should because it is the areas largest employer.
    It is a job.

    Cons

    High rate of employee turnover.
Non existent training for new employees.
Few raises and always system wide, no merit or job performance raises given.
Management non existent when needed. Always in "meetings"..
    No support from management.
Poor work/life balance. Mosaic comes first over everything else..
Does not want long term employees.
Management unwilling to listen to new ideas.
Staff is overworked most of the time missing meals.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people not robots. Be available for your employees. Get rid of cookie cutter rules and go back to job performance.

    Pros

It's making me put something here. I truly can't think of anything I gained from working here. There are no incentives for doing a good job.

    Cons

Never a manager at our clinic
    Hostile work environment
If you don't take their benefits you also are penalized with not ever accruing PTO.
    Never any raises or bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Be in the building?? And listen to employees. Don't just say "we're listening!!" Act on it.

    Pros

There are many locations to choose from.

    Cons

The recruiter actually told me that they will never pay more than %75 of what is average pay for nurses in this area. Hmmm take a 25% cut in pay anyone?
