    Pros

Company is growing a lot so lots of opportunities for career growth if you are willing to stick around. Competitive salaries

    Cons

Started off well here but as you get more experienced you realize their is no work life balance and in my view they don't care about their employees. Always a huge pressure on efficiency. Their is no off season because they have year round clients . Partners didn't seem to care much about personal development of their staff only really cared if their jobs got done.

    Pros

Competitive benefits package. 5 weeks paid time off to start is hard to beat. Lots of fun off-season activities for the whole office or small teams.

    Cons

The tax accounting world can get boring, especially on the bottom rungs of the ladder. The cycle between crazy busy and nothing to do is brutal.

I have been working at Moss Adams LLP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

As a single mother facing a 1-hour commute twice a day, Moss Adams gave me the flexibility to work remote a few days each week and to adjust my schedule to avoid losing so much time sitting in traffic. Time I got back with my family. In addition, they have varying programs to help you pay for your education and sponsorship programs to help you get where you want to go.

    Cons

I just learned that I am doing the same job as several other people and being paid significantly less than they are. I joined Glass Door to see what that range might be so I can take it to HR and my sponsor.

    Advice to Management

Nobody wants to inadvertently find out that they are paid less, i.e., valued less than someone else doing the same job. Overall, I love it that you listen, that you are involved and that you lead by example on maintaining a work-life balance.

I have been working at Moss Adams LLP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It has the benefits of a Big 4 firm with the feel of a smaller firm and/or private company. The people I work with are awesome; it sort of feels like a family, at least at my office. You will get much more experience at Moss Adams versus a Big 4 firm, because the clients are typically smaller.

    Cons

Like any job in public accounting, it is heavy on the hours.

    Advice to Management

    None.

    Pros

There are great opportunities to grow and excel. The people at Moss Adams are intelligent, talented and hard workers. There are several career paths and opportunities to advance your career.

    Cons

This is public accounting which means long hours and difficulty balancing personal and professional commitments. The firm is very transparent, however, in communicating the hours requirements and professional commitment.

I worked at Moss Adams LLP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Successful company, fun work events, big office in Portland, OR so lots of co-workers (don't get sick of them and get to learn a lot.)

    Cons

Work way to hard and way to often year-round (not just in busy season.) It is expected that you work ridiculous amounts, and you don't feel appreciated. People don't always get promoted when they should and it becomes a popularity game.

    Advice to Management

Give people a break! Don't be so judgmental with those that actually want a work/life balance.
