I have been working at Mother New York full-time

    Pros

Unlimited vacation, nice office, snacks, most employees are great and want to do good work.

    Cons

No transparency. Leadership are in constant meetings, but no one knows what they get done. CEO is never in the office and seems out of touch with employees. So much time is wasted, it's nuts. Favoritism is rampant and diminishes morale.

I have been working at Mother New York full-time

    Pros

    [LOS ANGELES]
    - Some snack options
    - Free food Friday
    - Decent health insurance
    - Used to have good people (They have left!)

    Cons

    [LOS ANGELES]
    - Leadership is extremely indecisive which causes last minute change to everything
    - Quality of work is poor since everyone is under very tight turnaround due to lack of decision making from the leadership
    - Short on people but can't hire more people due to the budget
    - No communication between teams whatsoever
    - No appreciation for design
    - No room for growth
    - Hiring process is not transparent
    - No culture / unhealthy gossip

I worked at Mother New York full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free food and free booze.

    Cons

The creative work is based on quantity rather than quality. There is poor leadership from management, so expect late nights and mediocre final creative that you wouldn’t be proud to put in your portfolio. Staff is arrogant and breeds unhealthy competition. Do not recommend working there.

    Advice to Management

Review who is leading your creative teams: the work has not improved in years, and the people have gotten too arrogant for their own good. Lots of bullying and indignant behavior from upper management, shocking for a company who supposedly prides themselves on their people and culture.
