I have been working at Moto Hospitality part-time

    Pros

Always great opportunity to process and train on different units. Extra hours are always available and a reasonable discount card and family card is offered for your employment to be used across Moto sites around the UK.

    Cons

High staff turnover meaning always short staffed.

I worked at Moto Hospitality (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It offered an ok pay package but this was still the minimum wage. Great discount on store products within the service stations. Great team to work with and generally all the staff were friendly. Gave me great support when I needed it

    Cons

Unsociable shifts with early starts from 7am -3pm or late shifts from 3pm- 11pm. With the late shifts I often had to leave later than 11 due to making sure the store was in an excellent condition for the next days shift.

    Advice to Management

Site managers need show a bit more respect to staff during busy periods. We are trying our hardest to get our jobs done , we don't need you criticising us when we are trying to do it. I however can't fault my store managers who supported their staff well.

    Cons

Training was very poor and unorganised
    Staff turnover was very high
    The company had poor values

Create a better atmosphere for staff to work in

    Pros

    Good staff discount, that's it.

    Cons

Short of staff always, people calling sick and unrespectfull managers. You could do 16 or 18 hours shift, they don't care about your social life, if you work for Moto, they will make sure you never see your kids again. Just work, work and work.

    Advice to Management

They must learn how to speak to people.
