    Pros

The company runs pretty "drama-free." I've worked in warehouses where there were fights every other day between workers. Everyone is friends with each other, for the most part.
Company throws a lot of lunches for everybody and throws a killer Christmas party for the office workers and a separate party for the warehouse workers, both are great!

    Cons

The reason why everyone leaves....pay is horrible! It's no secret between everyone.
My position at different companies pays $5-$7/hr more than what I get.
If you're not a top manager, forget it. The CMOs receive half a million dollar bonus checks and yet people working their butts off in every other dept make $10-$12/hr and receive 10 cent raises a year...if a manager even approves it!! Mc Donald's pays more!

    Advice to Management

This is a multi million dollar company, acknowledge the hard workers. The smart workers. Don't let the good employees go just to keep from compensating their worth. Retraining takes time and sometimes a replacement isn't always the best way to go, just to keep a "budget." Multi million dollar company!

I worked at Motorcar Parts full-time

    Pros

It's a professionally run company with brilliant minds at the helm.

    Cons

Unfortunately some people in middle management work will less than honorable ulterior motives of self preservation. There is an inner circle in the marketing department that have upper management's naive ears. Be careful when you're working here. "Watch your back Jack" -( Clear and Present Danger)

    Advice to Management

Value your soldiers as much as your generals. Listen to both sides.

I have been working at Motorcar Parts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The work is simple, the hours are flexible, the work environment is friendly, working conditions are good in the office.

    Cons

No upward mobility in the Accounting department, no salary increases unless you ask for them and they are in the low range, annual bonus is $100 minus payroll taxes even if you've worked there 15 yrs. No chance of overtime or merit increases. Supervisors and Managers are only looking out for themselves.

    Advice to Management

Recognize talent, promote and reward it.

I worked at Motorcar Parts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some department managers are employee friendly, so it just depends which area you are working in.

    Cons

Each department is segregated, and there is no real communication between the different areas. Long hours are usually required.
There seems to be a lot of turnover in certain areas.

    Pros

Employees ARE the biggest asset here. The CEO lives that. Managers have adopted the same outlook.

    Cons

Too lean, trying to do too much with not enough employees causes stress. Being a public company means no rear view mirror, only what have you done for me lately.

I have been working at Motorcar Parts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You get to learn a lot if you really like challenges. Time is money, and spending time to work on something you like gets rewarded.

    Cons

Work schedules too darn early! When something goes down, you can't just give up, you HAVE to finish it; but this is expected of you, so it's not a con if you think about it., it's expected of you.
