    Cons

Engineering driven...it was not user centered design

    Advice to Management

Need greater emphasis on a human centered design approach throughout the company. Talking about a research driven organization is not the same thing as being a human centered design and research driven organization.

Well established company. Great name recognition. Produced quality products and if they become stable again, could still be a force to be reckoned with.

The company has multiple levels which allows wll employees to explore and continue advance in their career planning. It also help employees to develop a set of skills that helps with jobs.

    Cons

Decision makers and managers come from a wide variety of background and often times, they disagree with each other regardless of the company goals. Such management structure made serious mistakes.

Identify the right expertise and specialties for all levels of employees. Many of the meetings are inefficient due to political issues. Team work spirit is greatly compromised due to complex networking issues among employees.
