I have been working at Mount Auburn Hospital full-time

    Pros

Mount Auburn Hospital has long, tenured staff because it is a friendly, community based hospital that strives to create a culture of wellbeing for its employees. Excellent patient-centered culture.

    Cons

Multiple job responsiblities, must be able to multi-task and be a self-starter and willing to work without annual reviews.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent and engaged with the employees, top down participation and engagement. Bring back employee recognition process to motivate superior patient-centered care.

I have been working at Mount Auburn Hospital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent field clinician teammates, good benefits. Orientation is thorough. New documentation system that has major challenges. Used to have a good work/life balance but not anymore

    Cons

Recent merger has left company with new management who care more about productivity and the bottom line than providing quality patient care and taking care of the employees. New office staff are inefficient and at times rude

    Advice to Management

Listen to field staff. Take care of employees and patient satisfaction scores will follow

    Pros

Awesome patient care, great lower management staff

    Cons

Nurses are the only thing management cares about. Non clinical staff treated like garbage
