  3. "Not a great place to work at"

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Mount Auburn Hospital full-time

    Pros

Hard to come up with any pros.

    Cons

Very disorganized hospital. No one knows anything and you're left having to figure things out on your own. You don't feel supported. If you ask for help you're looked at like you're dumb. Hard to get a response from people when you send them messages.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and let managers actually manage. Don't micro manage everything the managers do.

I worked at Mount Auburn Hospital full-time for less than a year

    Pros

No reason to work here. Lack of urgency in fixing issues with the hospital are a major reason why they are failing.

    Cons

Currently 17 open Epic positions. There are obvious problems that management refuses to address. Data integrity issues, workflow issues, order issues. Unable to retain staff, most full time Epic positions soon to be staffed by consultants. Getting to the point recruiters will not deal with MAH due to the high turnover. The best solution at this point in time is to shut everything down. Go into downtime procedures...

    Advice to Management

BILH will not tolerate what is going on with Epic. There will be major layoffs in IT if the situation is not resolved quickly.

I worked at Mount Auburn Hospital part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Decent competitive salary Competitive benefit package

    Cons

Hospital doesn’t appear to care about nurse patient ratio. Doesn’t care about nurses who are poor performers Administration is out of touch with the needs of current hospital

    Advice to Management

Time to retire current administration unless your priority is getting an ice cream for nurses week ...I am not more concerned that nurses have the knowledge needed to care for patients appropriately
