    Pros

The PLUMs (Peer-Led Undergraduate Mentorship) program is really helpful. Student mentors develop their teaching skills and pass their passion and knowledge to the underclass students.

    Cons

I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

I worked at Mount Holyoke College (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working for a mission-driven organization has a lot of upsides - there's always a sense of purpose and meaning in your work. The organizational culture was also largely positive - the leadership were good people, and did their best to ensure a healthy work environment.

    Cons

Our department was chronically underresourced while I was there. Of course, this is typical of almost anywhere with a finite budget, but it could be frustrating at times to always be told to somehow do more with less - less people, fewer tools, etc.

I have been working at Mount Holyoke College (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are essentially being paid to attend classes that you would be attending anyway. It is a great way to help your fellow students out while also keeping up with your notes.

    Cons

Some of cons of this job are that you are often going to need to make your notes more comprehensive than you would otherwise.

    Advice to Management

Management would be well advised to raise the salary and have a more efficient and user-friendly way to give the notes anonymously to the student who requested them.

it can be challenging to assist students if the lectures given by the professor are not productive. It can leave too much responsibility on me as a TA.
