      Pros

stable for the most part, good healthcare workers, can't think of any other pro's

      Cons

the talent acquisition department at Mount Sinai is a mess - the turnover is extremely high and it's gotten worse since 2019- management is incapable of supporting staff, everyone here plays 'the blame game' instead of actually encouraging growth, learning, and improving the process. the onboarding process is terrible, long, and confusing- recruiters have a huge volume of work with zero empathy from management, and I was constantly being disrespected while working here. I would HIGHLY advise you to stay away from the talent acquisition department at mount sinai, unless you want to work long hours, work on your days off, have low pay, disrespect from management in the hospitals and corporate, and never be heard/seen/supported. this is the worst department to work in hands down, and the turnover rate speaks for itself.

      Pros

      1. Reputable hospital to have on your resume (main reason I was able to land new employment rather quickly).

      Cons

      1. Administrative positions come with extremely low pay compared to other NYC hospitals. 2. A lot of low morale caused by conflicting HR practices due to half of the staff being union members and the rest non-union.
