      Horrible place to work at

      Pros

Only good thing is gain of experience as a nurse

      Cons

Very unsafe place to work at . The assignments are ridiculous, manager one day asked me to take a 7th patient by force when it’s normally max 6 patients . Recognitions on the floor of the nurse of the week/month is all favoritism . If you don’t share your personal life info the management they treat you like you don’t exist . I felt very under appreciated after all the crazy assignments and mistakes they would do to me . I had only 8 more months to complete my 3 year contract and they wanted to still charge me The full 15,000 $ for internship , I couldn’t take this place anymore I felt very unsafe working here and the pay is not great . They are very stingy ! The manager literally drives away every single employee! Nurses are always leaving that floor , no one ever lasts there on that floor it’s always new employees getting hired , I wonder why ... there’s probably only 1-2 nurses who have actually stayed there for a while .

      Pros

Only Hospital in Miami Beach * Paid Time Off * Decent Medical Insurance*

      Cons

We agree this organization is very corrupt. It is an unethical organization and business procedures are not industry standard. Discrimination and other forms of harassment occur repeatedly by management. When employees do report unethical behavior to human resources, they are intimidated by their supervisors; Uncomfortable work environment and unfair work responsibilities. Nepotism, employees get discouraged. Patient Access, Security, and Safety departments are a joke, Lots of politics’, Poor training, low organization skills, and especially ill- mannered customer service. Managers and their supervisor’s daily involvement to cover up safety and security violations. Security personnel not required to have state licenses. Supervisors spend most of their time on their cellular phones and delegate their responsibilities to others, No one seems to care.

      Pros

I know in my heart that I have very good experience as a Medical Assistant. I would prefer to work for another department of Mount Sinai as a Medical Assistant.

      Cons

I work for a GYN/GYN Surgeon Doctor, I would not recommend no one to work there, because they only hired me for three weeks, and then they Laid me off.
