I worked at MoveOne full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good door opener for getting into the industry
    Good colleagues and work dynamic
Travel for work and visit other offices
    Flexible and client oriented

    Cons

    Hostile management
    Bad bad HR structure
Company not performing financially well; big turnover and redundancies
    Less and less career opportunities
All decisions (even small ones) made by the CEO
    Inconsistent, lacks vision and strategy
Being eaten by competitors piece by piece

    Advice to Management

Set long term goals and strategy, implement company values and then stick to them
    Trust your employees more
Start treating your employees with respect

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at MoveOne (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Interesting work
    Possibility to work from home
Able to organize one´s own work
Good hourly wage but too little work

    Cons

No financial security if you work as freelance - paid by the hour, but no fixed amount of hours per month is guaranteed
All risks on your side - if there are client-related changes beyond your control, you loose profit, not the company
    Unpaid training
    No benefits
Generally one-sided relationship in favor of employer

    Advice to Management

Either you need to change the business structure so that you are able to hire workers on a contract, or you need to realize that a freelance job is suitable only for students. For an adult who needs to pay his bills, it is not possible to sustain himself off the work-to-salary ratio you are offering

    I worked at MoveOne full-time

    Pros

The company has global character that reflects to local level with it's professionality and fairness to it's employees. The main advantage to work in an international company is the chance to work with worldwide colleagues and clients. I still communicate with part of them. The company gave chance for progress to each employee who had the ambition and the abilities.

    Cons

The only disadvantage personally for me was that the company doesn't allow freelance work, work from home in case an employee needs to relocate to another city where the company doesn't have an office. If they had that opportunity, I would have never left the company.

    Advice to Management

Higher salaries is always a wish of any employee. If there is opportunity for the same, then should be accepted with excitement, as it improves both sides, the employee and company's successful productivity. And perhaps evaluation of the team leaders and managers can help to know the employees side of their effectiveness.

I have been working at MoveOne full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Paycheck on time, Paid vacation, Chance to call professionals all over the world (but not meet them in person). Good experience.

    Cons

Very bad HR Team (not treating all employees equally when it comes to company policies). No opportunity to travel and meet agents on organized conferences. Very low salary (they promise a raise on the first interview, but you should not expect any changes).

    Advice to Management

Try to keep your promises and give employees a proper training, because some of them need it. Sending the same people over and over to conferences and meetings will not bring profit to the company

Dealing with major logistics players in the world and being one of them

    Cons

Extremely low salary for the local staff. Very rare chance for career progress.

    Advice to Management

Try to rethink why skillful people have left the company in the past years.
