    Pros

Made great connections with customers! Loved every minute working with my staff! Great teamwork! Awesome management and if you put in the dedication it was easy to move up.

    Cons

When Movie Stop was bought out by it's last buyer, they ran it down the hole. Once a great company to work for, it quickly became a nightmare.

    Advice to Management

Don't bring in collectibles to a movie store. We lost some great customers because of this change over and it really hindered business.

I worked at MovieStop LLC (Less than a year)

    Pros

Discounts at Game Stop and Barnes and Noble are pretty much the only reason to keep this job

    Cons

Rampant company mandated film miscategorizing (The Hebrew Hammer is a religious film? Really?) , understaffing, and general pawn shop atmosphere make this job a damned nightmare.

    Advice to Management

Give people enough hours to live on, and maybe you'll have a happier workforce?

I have been working at MovieStop LLC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Plenty of chances to move up the chain in most areas. Some regions enjoy a great deal of field support.

    Cons

Some employees may get "stuck" under a higher-up that won't move out of the way. Some areas are under-supported by their management.

    Advice to Management

Don't be so reluctant to can under-performing management.
