    I worked at Moy Park

    Pros

Nothing whatsoever was positive about my awful experience with this draconian company (ashbourne site)

    Cons

Constant bullying from hierarchy to shop floor workers. Dickensian makes it sound more current than it actually is. I am pretty sure that the board have absolutely no idea what goes on at ashbourne or they turn a blind eye. Either way the place is destined for failure whilst this goes on. Unbelievable amounts of foul language and behavior used towards shop floor workers. When complained about then things just get... brushed under the carpet. Awful place to try and further your career in management

I worked at Moy Park full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I made some good friends both English and eastern European. Most people want to work hard but there are some exceptions to the rule

    Cons

Most of the time English is not spoken on the shop floor. This is supposed to be policed but isn't. Too much pressure is put on team leaders who then put far too much pressure onto operatives. The absence policy is ridiculous! Working with food you cannot come to work with vomiting/ diorreaha or viruses yet get disciplined if you don't come in no matter what the reasons are. If an incident occurs, some management... make up their minds before starting an investigation.

    Advice to Management

Get onto the shop floor! People are so often spoken to like they're worthless and are often shouted at and it makes them not want to work. Some management while good at the paperwork side of things are not at all good with people.
