    Pros

Employee friendly company with decent package. Their HR are very cooperative even to ex employees. I was fortunate enough to get a good project with leadership role. Overall good tier 2 company.

    Cons

Higher management could be better. They should try to focus on new skillsets and not live with old tools and technologies.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

If you are keen on learning, receiving exposure to newer domains, this is a good place to be. Depending on the vertical / tower you're in, you may have minimal to no micromanagement (especially in the APPS tower). The same cannot be said about other towers.

    Cons

This company became overtly dependent on HP's line of business, as though without HP they couldn't even hold their own brand name. The sales teams look at the easier pickings (HP contracts) to fill their quotas -- instead of bringing in more NEW business.

ZERO retention policy. They did nothing to retain their brightest -- a big shame.

    Advice to Management

Define and Preserve your Values. Direct your sales staff to bring in new direct channel revenue. Then leverage your managed services model of execution. You've been successful with it in the past. But retain your performers, your bright ones. HELP THEM GROW or WATCH THEM GO.

I worked at MphasiS full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Insurance
    Work Life Balance
Nothing much else.. probably your learn about office politics first hand

    Cons

If you are offered a Role to work at Houston for their Client. Look away; there are better companies to work for with better compensation and growth. Esp. if you are being interviewed for a team under Ashif Hossain or Rathna Basavaraju. These morons would not have a clue the value in a engineer even if he is shoving a patent certificate in their face. They will consistently rate you less and give u a 0.x% hike, their main agenda is Money.. if you make them then they need you. You will not be given a chance to move to different project, you will not be given a chance to extend your technical knowledge. OH!! THERE IS NO GREEN CARD sponsorship, unless you have a BUSINESS JUSTIFICATION.

young engineers unless you are looking for a temp job or a launch pad.. look at other companies.. don't loose your life or career here. its worthless

    Advice to Management

There is no collective feedback from employees about the wrong-doings of their managers. Company values are not only for Employees of certain level Deliver Managers and Managers need to follow it. You need to tighten the Managers role to make sure they are fit for it.. Half the manager don't know current trends or technology, they are pathological liars who steal ideas from Hardworking engineers. They don't compensate well or do they know the meaning of aspiration. The Mphasis Values are just an eye wash. Since i am out of MphasiS now i see what i missed all these years. Strengthen your work force bye tweaking your management.

"Worst company to take an offer in USA(They offered me a job but didn't complete the H1b Transfer as they got an RFE )"

    Star Star Star Star Star
Former Employee - Module Lead in New York, NY
Former Employee - Module Lead in New York, NY

    Pros

No Pros as i haven't worked here but wanted to rate this company as it spoiled my carrer in USA

    Cons

If they offer you a position in USA for a contract better get away from the offer.
They come to you only to satisfy their clients and once your h1b meets an RFE they don't even care for it. the management is done by under rated programme managers.

They won't pick your calls and don't respond to your emails. In my 10 years of experience i heard about so many companies none of them competes with this company in its stupidity.

If they come to you with urgency better don't get panic and resign in your current place.

    Advice to Management

Better take care of the hiring process and spoil the individual's carrer to satisfy your requirements with client
