      Pros

Supports visa transfer (H1B) in the US region Good Collaboration among employees within the account

      Cons

very minimum benefits for FT (insurance premiums are very high) employees are billable resources directly working with the client Either managers are not on the client site and if they are they dont usually care since company has zero bench policy so if the client bails out for any reason you are at mercy of your manager leaders are for name sake anything bought to their attention is ignored. they will only approach or speak with you if they need something from you All the mphasis values are just for advertisement but never really implemented

Not a good place to work :(

      Pros

There is not much positives to say about this company. Still, there are group of old timers holding the culture of the company.

      Cons

      1. Lot of competent people have moved out or moving out of this company. 2. More delivery center focused, than customer focused. For example, if there is a delivery issue, people at front-lines are thrown into fire and customer is ignored. 3. No bench policy. In US there is no bench, if someone roll out of a project, he/she will have to move to another project ASAP else will have to move out of the company. India, people will get half salary after couple of months and later they will have to go on forced leave. 4. Practices function like resourcing/placement groups. No focus on specialized training, no preparedness for the future, no forecast on demand vs available skills, no individual goals to work on POVs or Whitepapers, no emphasis on creating IP, no appreciation or compensation for any ideas or IP. In summary, no investment from Sr. Management for Practices. 5. Quotes cheap to client and gets cheaper resources to fulfill requirements. Net-net no quality. 6. Both, Customer and Employee retention are low.

A big no company. use and throw company. Join at your own risk

      Pros

Nothing as such. Not employee friendly at all.

      Cons

They don't have good and long term projects. If you join with more salary then be ready to get fired. They will use and throw you. No long term projects before joining they'll tell it is long term project and most of the projects gets ramped down in between. Then you'll be placed on bench. Getting new project on bench is as difficult as switching company. First your profile has to be shortlisted and later client round etc. Bench policy is worst 1 month full salary remaining 2 months half salary and after that sabatical for 6 months without pay andfinally firing from company. During covid situation also they want employees to work from office.

Most of the projects here are in restricted odc( no smartphones allowed) and restricted odc hours to be maintained Join only if you want tension and stress in your life

      Cons

No work life balance. Has limited clients. Nobody cares about you, You have to find opening by yourself and give client interviews. Bench policy for 4-5 rating first 3 months full pay next 2 months half pay then no pay. For banking project ODC is there where u can not carry anything no phones,no paper,no wallet nothing. They trap by showing onsite opportunity.

Worst Experience i had in my professional career

May 6, 2019 - Senor Software Engineer in Pune

      Pros

Better for someone who wants to end their career.

      Cons

No Worklife Balance Policies are defined only for middle level Employees & but Organization Management don't follows. Till joining over there every HR & TA team will say we have lot of projects across the Organization once you enter into Organization we all came to know how it is. and at any time management asks you to leave the company and will provide salary for next 2months only latter on nothing you get. Worst bench policy once you came out from project. your life end over there. and HR's starts asking forcing you to get out. but while joining they may say we have good bench policies maintaining across Organization. No support from higher management

      Pros

company provide paid cab facility is available

      Cons

Mphasis have a very worst bench policy, they will pay only for 2 and half month with full salary, if u dont get projects even till 2.5 months , then it will be no pay till 6 months, this policy have been implemented from 2009, no pay period is called sabbatical, the HR doesn't take necessary steps to deploy the bench resources, once if the emplyee moves to sabbatical the HR team doesnt care about them. especially chennai mphasis have lot of old people with 40+ age ( they dont move out of the company, people with old attitude ) Untill unless you have contacts its difficult to get projects when u are in bench. learning is very less, its a small environment so people know each other very easily ( even many times getting a project is difficult because of it) many projects have moved out of mphasis ( especially in chennai ) unskilled employees
