I have been working at Mr. Cooper full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

There are a lot of perks associated with working there. They are making the effort to be a dynamic and inclusive workplace. They have fun and are understanding to the employees. Corporate and executives are engaging and interactive. They invested heavily in technology and continue to invest in employee satisfaction. They allow for the employees to be themselves and also to step out of our comfort zones every once in a while, with volunteer opportunities and other community events to help give back.

    Cons

In any large corporate environment, you tend to get lost in the crown unless you network, engage or have highly sought after skills. The same is true here, except there are more diverse ways to connect with colleagues and the company.

I worked at Mr. Cooper full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Gain knowledge of mortgage industry, co-workers are great (majority), somewhat relaxed, pay with bonus is good if in the right department, personal cubicle.

    Cons

Favoritism, management pre -selects who will advance, most escalation managers will not take calls and they disappear, cannot get responses to text messages or emails from management, escalation managers are not knowledgeable but will take credit for your work, they will find a way to get you out of the door is they want you gone. Lack of appreciation. Managers will get mad if you know more than they do and will not move you forward. A few fakers who brown nose their way in or sleep with managers and higher. Parking.

I have been working at Mr. Cooper full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Willingness to spend money on new tools and equipment. Market salary. Variety of IT tools used within department but lack individuals with experience who use them.

    Cons

Not for everyone but good entry level experience as most IT personnel shifted from other non-IT Mrcooper divisions. Some adapted fine while most are just busy body counts for some odd reason. Not enough knowledgeable and experienced IT personnel to support a company of this size. Most individuals have been there for years and find it hard to break the old small shop mentality - gray areas of leadership, ownership and responsibilities but black and white pending what side of the bed management woke up that morning and if you caused any outages.

I have been working at Mr. Cooper full-time

    Pros

-Pay is Average -Incentives to Bonus

    Cons

The training is not done very well. The trainers speak to the class in a very condescending manner, or will have conversations over the meeting platform as though the class is unable to hear them. It creates an unwelcoming environment for feeling comfortable to be able to ask questions. Language such as “I know you guys are going to mess this up so pay attention” or “I’m not surprised you guys are struggling with this” is not conducive for employees feeling ready to be on the floor.
