    Pros

    +Talent
    +Fun
    +Learning curve

Other than that, its pretty much the same with other studios, they also have extra co curricular activities to keep the employee sharp.

    Cons

    -Management
Work, life balance, they dont do much of overtime but still 44hrs per week isn't easy. management needs better pipeline and strategy towards their employees.

I have been working at Mr X full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of interesting projects with challenging tasks.
    Talented artists ready to help.
Company is growing, but it is still in a stage where you can physically discuss a task with a person from other department without 5 managers to be involved.
    Approved overtimes are paid properly.
Personally, I got all my vacations approved, but you need to book them 3-4 months ahead.
    Health benefits.
Fun events to join. Softball games, movie nights, cosplays and parties.

    Cons

Lots of overtimes. Many people do ghost hours.
Some artists work being sick. New office has bad AC which made it even easier to get sick. Depends on your place.
Mostly, you see project supervisors only during dailies. Sometimes, asking a short question or showing a playblast at your desk helps to save time a lot.

    Advice to Management

Try to solve problems more by planning and less by forcing people to do overtime. Quote: "A great place to start or end up"

    Keep it up!

I worked at Mr X full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits after 3 months
Will hire students with 0 experience
    Consistent work
    Some good artists

    Cons

    Very negative environment
Management is like a highschool clicke and have zero training or industry knowledge of managing practices.
No career progression unless you're in the clicke or suck up to the right people.
    No flexible work hours
    Lots of unpaid overtime
Low salary compared to other studios in Toronto.
CEO is egotistical bully. Aggressive verbal outbursts at artists during dailies and in main work areas. Hired all his friends into high management positions (clicke) which means you have no one to raise disputes with.
Zero interest or accommodations for personal/home life.
Very little training for new artists.
Project deadlines are ridiculous even by industry standards due to unknowledgeable PM and managers.

    Advice to Management

Leave the industry because you will never change.

To Technicolour (the owners), complete overhaul of management and keep Dennis (CEO) away from artists.
