I worked at Mubea full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good salary for the community. Excellent benefits, and health clinic on campus.

    Cons

24/7, 12 hour shifts, little time off allowed off

I worked at Mubea full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly and positive colleague culture. Hourly employees were some of best I have ever worked with.

    Cons

Negative and disassociated management culture with respect to subordinates. Notable lack of organization. Would take quite an effort to move to world class environment with respect to my type of work. Lack of support from management.

    Advice to Management

Improve communication with subordinates with team building focus. Communication and problem solving with employees is not as nearly as open as it should be.

I worked at Mubea full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Health care is outstanding! The company as a whole appears to truly appreciate their employees.

    Cons

The demand too much of employees. They could not keep a 2 shift crew and required 68-70 hours a week from 1st shift to compensate.
Friendship and nepotism are prevalent in some warehouses reaching management.

    Advice to Management

Check in on the individual warehouses and stop the "good old boy" system of friends and family hiring one another then pushing out hard working employees who got their job the correct way. As a whole you are an excellent company but you need to keep in touch with all aspects of your warehouses and how they are being run.

I worked at Mubea (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits..... ok PTO allowance.... Some...great coworkers.....lots of opportunity to prove tourself.....and two makes 20...lol

    Cons

Not the best culture to grow under. Its very hard to get a big picture of the business when you have next to zero access to other areas of the company where you can get access to different opportunities

    Advice to Management

Sharing information is crucial to success. Many employees are in the dark about the direction of the company and their part in it. There should be more frequent update on company progress and employee performances

I have been working at Mubea full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent health insurance, 401k, co-workers, some travel opportunities,

    Cons

Too many bad chiefs not enough good Indians, 12 hour shifts, Never enough employees to cover 24/7 operation.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees more. Make upper level management more accountable for problems that they create. Most of the problems they occur because the production employees are following the plan of bad managers.

    Pros

Management team and international coworkers are fully supportive of employee needs and abilities. Benefits are in line with similar offers in the area, and any desire to go above and beyond is rewarded by management and senior coworkers.

    Cons

Human Resources is unable to support workers, and the lack of oversight of company policy can be harmful if you do not look out for yourself. Due to the independence of several positions, someone looking for rote work will be dissatisfied. Extensive travel is typically required to adequately perform job duties, as most customer and company interaction occurs off-site.

    Pros

    Pay is decent,
Able to move up quickly as long as it is not a management position

    Cons

Emplyees are pushed to the brink for the sake of profits, big overturn, major lack of respect from the higher ups

    Advice to Management

Hire and promote those with brains not just to fill a spot only to watch the person quit in a matter of months

I have been working at Mubea full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Fair pay, investments in new equipment.

Apprenticeship program is run by someone who has great respect for people and has enthusiasm for teaching and being a mentor

St. Elizabeth on sight Dr helps drive insurance cost down.

Engineering Intern program is a good starting point for students coming in as a Industrial, Manufacturing Engineer. Mechanical Engineerings will not use their full potential.

    Multi cultural environment.

    Cons

Managed terrible. Attempts yearly to start new programs but company does not follow thru on promises. ( PACE, Driven By the best, 5S,among others in the past) Management down to supervisor level looks at an employee as a number. No personal skills used to create a social environment.

Most management has no formal education therefore only taught how to save monies at other expenses that are not noticed. Also when this happens they have a tendency to grow a large egotistical view which kills their ability to listen with open ears when employees are willing to communicate ideas. Have no clue about the idea you get what you pay for when purchasing day to day items.

They have a large turnover in most business units and it is ever increasing as they move management from one unit to another to get results which is short term. Long term as employees catch on to there management practices to lie their way to get what they want.
Supervisors don't play by their own rules.

Forget about the Union and company wall and start treating employees as a Human.
One of your current management use an analogy " Throw them a bone now and then..."

Temporary job service is over used for cheap labor.

    Advice to Management

Step out of your current box. Employees will never treat customers any better than they are being treated.
Every employee has a customer within their business unit
Good wages is number 5 on the list for an employee to reach his/her potential. Anyone who has done research knows number one and two on that list is appreciation and feeling in on things.
