I worked at Mudano full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a pleasure working at Mudano and I’m hugely proud of what the Product team had achieved. Mudano has world-class teams, state of the art technology, amazing culture and positive attitude which result in continuous innovation and improvement. If you enjoy change and working within a fast-paced environment, then you will love Mudano!

    Cons

Due to the fast growth of the business, it tends to be challenging in balancing team(s) and business priorities. This tends to team(s) being pulled towards delivering the platform like a project than a product.

    Advice to Management

Suggest more marketing around the business and the platform (Sharktower). Also, would be nice to have more collaboration between product team and end users/customers.

I have been working at Mudano full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I genuinely believe that the people I work alongside really care about what they do
Grown at rapid rate and have managed to keep up!
A fantastic team of people in and around the company who are whole supportive of the business and its people
    People do really come first
The company offer coaching/mentoring budget to spend on self-development as part of your benefits package
There are opportunities to learn and grow
Mudano has a company culture that promotes strong core values and is very diverse

    Cons

Being based over 3 locations isn't perfect as it great to have human interaction rather than over video call

    Advice to Management

Keep going! You have built a great foundation for values, behaviours and culture I really believe in

    I worked at Mudano full-time

    Pros

Good location of office in London
    Some good people work there
    Good social events

    Cons

The first time my line manager looked at my cv was on my last day at Mudano - giving an idea of how much interest he took through my experience there. Incredibly poor communication (I would even say miscommunication) from career jockey senior line managers throughout my time there. My experience was perhaps quite different to most of the other reviews on Mudano here, and I also note that a lot of those reviews were from the Product side rather than the Client Facing Consultancy side which I was part of - which is a lot more corporate, political, ruthless, and frankly not creative at all (understandably to some extent as they have to please clients). I have worked for quite a few start ups and small companies in the past but with all that experience I couldn't understand how to create something at Mudano, the commitment from line managers and structures in the business aren't set up to allow this.

    Advice to Management

If you truly want to change the way project management is done you need to understand that a consultant who has spent the last 10 years at IBM/Ernst & Young might not be equipped to do that (otherwise they would already be doing that), Ask yourselves are you honestly giving the chance to being a true change leader or is it just "Change the World" spiel being disbursed as noted in one of the earlier reviews

I have been working at Mudano full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company truly embodies start now and prototype and the positive (and negative) aspects that come with it.

    - you can get things done here, just do it and prove value
    - you'll be on the cutting edge of people, tech and data
    - you'll work with some of the fastest, thoughtful and smart people I've come across. Those few people you came across who you thought christ they're clever? They're here.

    Cons

    - Imposter syndrome. If you are hired you're bringing something no one else has to the team, don't forget that
    - Renumeration and benefits aren't very transparent, this needs working on
    - Growing pains of a scale up in terms of getting our culture right and making it stick. We're not there yet and would benefit from fresh perspectives

    Advice to Management

Follow the netflix model. We don't need more structure we just need more A grade people as we grow.

Ensure we prioritise career checkpoint discussions during our year, not get deflected by the volume of work we can win

    I worked at Mudano full-time

    Pros

Very flexible work schedule on the development side.

    Cons

Senior, top talent need not apply as salaries are being pushed/held down and a lack of clear direction has lead to an exodus of the kind of people you actually want to work with.

    Advice to Management

Lose the "change the world" recruitment speech... Just sets people up for disappointment after their first 3 months.

    Pros

You are part of something i truly believe will be a game changer. Working with amazing people of a lot of different back grounds and great personalities you will have the chance to create your own path and make your role your own.

    Cons

This isn't a con but Mudano isn't for the feint of heart or for those that must have a rigid structure. They are creating something amazing and need amazing people to step up and put in the hard yards to make their vision happen.

    Pros

This company has a clear vision of the future and they are going for it!!!!
Watch out world, the autonomous project will soon be a real thing. The consultancy brand is so strong now and the delivery work is different to anywhere else
Teams are so smart and will challenge the best in the world on talent
Drive of company directors unbelievable, do not know how they do it.
Great place for Data Science real world application
    Package and benefits excellent

    Cons

The London office is a shared space and lets the company down a lot imo
Sometimes it is hard to keep up. Everything and everyone moves so fast - do not go here if you are not excellent
Not sure why the founders changed to sole CEO, was working better as two
