    Pros

The people are great and willing to work as a team. The manual labor isn't overwhelming. Machines are being updated, to make it better on the operators.

    Cons

The pay scale and pay raises need to be revamped, people are making way less than what they are qualified to do.

    Pros

    Good visibility throughout the organization
Location - on the golf course
Because of the organizational structure, employees are able to learn about / work in more facets of the business

    Cons

    Paid employees below industry standards
Location - not safest part of town
Divisions didn't always work well together
    Thin organization

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they are worth, or you'll continue to have the turnover.

I worked at Mueller Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Mueller Industries is a good place to start a career because the employees are fulfilling multiple job roles but the company tends to lose its talent.

    Cons

I worked at Mueller for several years and the lack of structure and organization is rampant. Mueller tends to lose its talent quickly due to the lack of direction and and pay.

    Advice to Management

    More communication

    Pros

Rarely do they lay off. Average insurance benefits 80/20.
    Salespeople have great earning potential

    Cons

Low wages the raise was less than $1.00, across the board for all employees in all departments.
Several employees are leaving old and new, recently. Mueller has failed to replace any of these employees even with temps.

    Advice to Management

Increase wages to all employees, not just salespeople.

I worked at Mueller Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Basicly getting a paycheck is the only pro and it is not a very big pro.

    Cons

The pay is way under the area average. Work like a dog for hardly no money. Terrible dirty conditions. Toxic air quality where the copper is melted down. Will most likely have lung cancer in the future. Management has no respect at all. Treats employees like they have no worth. Management will cuss you like a dog. No professionalism what so ever.

    Advice to Management

For the love of God come back down to earth. You are treating your people like slaves. I don't know how you sleep at night. Taking money away from a man that has been there 30 years because you say he makes to much is crazy. That man has made you a ton of money over the years. Show some respect.
