I worked at MurTech Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a really great company to work for. They actually put in time and effort for their employees. They answer/acknowledge any questions right away and don't try to shirk on any promises made to the employee.

    Cons

There have not been any cons for me working for this company.

I worked at MurTech Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Positive feedback, Always there when you need them or have questions or concerns. Was sad to leave but happy to be hired on fulltime/perm. I still keep in contact with the team. They'll always be there for me if ever I need them!

    Cons

I didn't have any issues working for the company. Great company

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! I appreciate the opportunity provided! Now I work from home and couldn't be more happier!

I have been working at MurTech Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I like the positive feedback; how they look after you if you have any problems; very positive staff

    Cons

The money for a bilingual rep is too low

    Advice to Management

I don’t think a bilingual rep and a regular rep should be paid the same. We have an extra skill that should be paid for. Most companies do not have anything available in that second language and it’s a lot of translating that an English speaking rep doesn’t have to do.

I worked at MurTech Consulting full-time

    Pros

-I always felt respected and valued as an employee and person
-I did not sit at the Murtech building, but communication was always fast if I had a problem/question
-Negotiating your own salary/paid time-off through them with the client you are being placed with gives you more power than many other consulting/staffing agencies
-Many other consulting agencies in the Pittsburgh area offer NO benefits

    Cons

-I had no paid holidays, but that may vary by contract so I can't speak to that for anyone else.

I have been working at MurTech Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Contacted me about an opportunity.

    Cons

The Recruiter that submitted me for a position was terrible at communication/feedback. I felt like I was doing the customer service piece of staying in contact and continuous follow up. I was asked to go to an onsite interview at which point he met me at the customers facility. After that, the Recruiter only contacted me when it was convenient for him, rarely followed up or provided feedback. Once I reached out to him he wanted to know everything about where I was interviewing and where I am in the process rather than actually taking the time to try and help me, in which I gave very limited information. I had called him multiple times, no call backs but when I sent a text he would respond within 5 minutes. This place should be ashamed and I wonder how long they will be in business for.

Also, I called their office in the Cleveland market and when I plugged in his last name it said that this particular Recruiter was not in their system... May want to fix that, after all of that I decided no opportunity is better than a bad opportunity, I removed myself from the process and hope to god I never get a call from a MurTech employee!

    Advice to Management

Teach your Recruiters how to Recruit. There are more aspects to Recruiting than just filling the position. I would be very surprised how many referrals you get from people. I for one will never recommend a friend to go through you to interview or discuss opportunities.

    Pros

Owners truly care about their employees, high commission possibilities, can make great money when business is good, good management, good people.

    Cons

PTO Plan, You can make good money but sometimes there are lows in business. Benefits are expensive for a family and inexpensive for single people

    Advice to Management

Continue to care about your employees, and continue to try and give employees more flexibility. Work with employees who may be experience personal difficulties.

I have been working at MurTech Consulting as a contractor

    Pros

They processed checks on time, except for once.

    Cons

Didn't respond to emails after I was hired on. Also, when I was leaving I received an offer from another company for the same contract position for more than $3 hour more. Rip off!

    Advice to Management

Pay employees well (what they deserve) to keep them.
