    Pros

The employees are great - a varied mix of culture that were all very hard workers and dedicated to the company and products. Benefits were great.

    Cons

The face of the company was ever changing and it lead to many of the key workers finding employment elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Bring some continuity to the employees - make them feel wanted again.

I worked at Murata Power Solutions full-time

    Pros

    Friendly colleagues and that's all.

    Cons

No proper organization, no proper planning nor new projects. There will be always miscommunication and a lot chaos within the team due to poor managing skills. And finally FREQUENT LAYOFF.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire if you're planning for a layoff and have a long term goal.

I worked at Murata Power Solutions (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Murata is a power components design and manufacturing company. They are in a field that will never go away. The benefits are excellent and their time off benefit is above all.

    Cons

Because the company is in constant change - it leaves the majority of its employees unsettled.

    Advice to Management

Let your employees know what is happening and your 5 year plan. This will help greatly with the moral of the employees.

I have been working at Murata Power Solutions full-time

    Pros

Good people, good cafeteria, close to stores

    Cons

Stupid set hours, even for salaried people, forced hour lunches, no flex time at all. Image more important then employees home lives

    Advice to Management

Bring back flex hours. Setting concrete hours did absolutely nothing except decrease moral and productivity, since many people were perfectly happy to put in extra time each day and still leave at a decent time. Very selfish and self centered decision for upper management to make without asking those affected if this would work....some even lost income because they had to stop second jobs. Not a good decision at all. Main reason that I am looking for employment elsewhere.
