Myer Emco was one of the only places around where people could actually see and hear very high end Audio equipment. The up side of working there was that you got to listen to some of the best sounds around.
Pay was commission only and was a percentage of the profit margin. Big screen TVs, the majority of sales, had a very small margin thus yielding only a small commission.
Advice to Management
Should have had a much larger inventory available for immediate delivery to customers. Often, the customer has to wait for a week or two to get a TV they could get today at best Buy.
