I worked at Mylan Inc full-time

    Pros

    Good benefits. Nice yearly bonus.

    Cons

This place is a sweatshop. They will eat you up and spit you out without any regards to your future or personal life. Unreal expectations. Crowded labs with a lack of resources to accomplish the unrealistic goals of upper management.

    Pros

Mylan Dublin Respiratory, is a shambles and run by idiots. Technically incompetent. They just want a process that you press and go. No possible with complex medicine.

    Cons

Technically incompetent management. No skills whatsoever. No clue. Really wouldn't recommend this place. Not world class.

    Advice to Management

Keep up with the territorial blame culture that you're so go at. Your attrition rate will then remain at 40%

    Cons

Horrible CEO, tarnished corporate image, multiple rounds of outsourcing/layoffs, damaging publicity from EpiPen scandal & inversion deal, constant job security threat from potential merger/buyout and the associated shortcuts taken to keep an attractive balance sheet and prevent hemorrhaging shareholders amidst scandals.

I worked at Mylan Inc full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Very inexpensive health benefits.

Free tea and coffee in the break rooms

    Cons

Mylan is not a good place to work if you have children or want a life outside of work. Horrendous work/life balance. Expected to host phone calls as early as 5 AM and late as 8 PM in the same day, and be available to answer phone calls and emails 24/7.

Working from home is greatly frowned upon, even for corporate employees who are given a work cell phone.

No sense of direction for its employees and is very unorganized. Management does not make decisions and blames others when things do not go well.

There are many opportunities to move up and around, as long as you are willing to work yourself to the bone or have a connection with someone in a higher level in the organization. Very bureaucratic.

    Advice to Management

Hire new leaders who cares about employees' well-being and decide on the direction for the company

I have been working at Mylan Inc full-time

    Pros

There is nothing you can learn in this premises. You will be lucky if you get one honest employee who will help you in understanding how Mylan works. What ever you have learned in your previous organisation is your only hope of surviving here. You will have unlearn everything what ever you have learnt in your previous life if you want to survive here.

    Cons

Politics in each and every step of your work. Leadership is non competent and only know how to play politics. All the leadership team here has brought their co-workers from their previous organisations. They gang up on you and isolate you if they smell you are doing something right.
God help you if you do your job right. The moment they come to know that you are performing well in job and getting noticed by your global peers they make sure that what ever you do your work won't be recognised and they put their followers in each and every aspect work to check on you.

    Advice to Management

Please change the leadership team. They are ruining Mylan by playing politics and being biased

    Pros

Competitive salary. Strong US business. Money to invest in acquisitions. Very strong French business and decent businesses in the UK and Italy.

    Cons

Europe has no autonomy, weak leadership, no organic growth, poor infrastructure in most of Europe, especially weak in Germany and Spain.

    Advice to Management

Build a strong management team in Europe and let them get on with managing the business
