I worked at NACG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fellow workers were a great bunch of people who bonded together for the most part in response to the oppressive nature of management.

    Cons

Supervision comprised too many two-faced back-stabbing self-interested individuals who feign friendliness as long as you serve their interests. To question anything they do or say is a sign of disloyalty. An injured worker is a useless employee. In both cases, they will get rid of you and put you on their no rehire list. Any employee who quits is considered disloyal and will never be rehired. They have also worked out deals with the union to pay less than other contractors. These days most employees are new to the business and don't know how much they're being exploited. Once they do, they quit and can never get rehired. Unless you're a conniving, unprincipled person who thrives on office intrigue comparable to reality shows like Big Brother and Survivor, avoid this company.

    Advice to Management

No point giving advice to people who are incapable of accepting it.

I have been working at NACG full-time

    Pros

Decent wages even after the pay cuts, union has good benefits and the pension contribution is very good

    Cons

Chaos. People are to be used and tossed aside as company needed. You are a number, not a person. Very little room for growth in technical departments.

    Advice to Management

A more humane and honest approach to employees would undoubtedly be much appreciated by field staff. Not squeezing your lowest level employees for every additional buck also would help retain talent.

    Pros

    Good pay
    Friendly co-workers
Social events for networking and keep high spirits

    Cons

    Not very challenging work
The onsite engineers didn't let the co-ops do many engineering related tasks

    Advice to Management

Let the co-ops shadow the engineers instead of just making them do all the paper work

    Pros

    Cons

    Advice to Management
