Research is tied closely with the desires of the lobbying parent, NAHB. This detracts from the non-bias perception that is valuable for a research organization. Work is also limited to the desires and interests of the parent organization thus limiting the variety of necessary and exciting work that exists in the field.
Advice to Management
Provide more assistance to the employees in what is actually desired by upper management. Identify potential issues with clients before they are encountered and work with employees in brainstorming solutions.
