    Pros

Career longevity, multiple opportunities should you want to relocate, and good people.

    Cons

Too many initiatives at one time; lack of systems to do the job; and lots of busy work to keep employees from focusing on their jobs. Also, lots of turnover in entry level roles.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your employees and make the necessary changes.

    Pros

Parts discount is decent. 401k and health benefits are of good value and relatively inexpensive. Gained knowledge of vehicle components

    Cons

Very few selected from manager to go higher in the ranks. In positions of responsibility, your blamed when things go wrong. Whether you have control over it or not

    Advice to Management

Promote more from within. There's a lot of potential in you managers who know how the operations run.

I have been working at NAPA Auto Parts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits that include company car, expense account, health savings account, 401K, great health insurance, etc. Lots of autonomy and the bonus structure is pretty good.

    Cons

You're limited on the vehicles you and choose from and unless you want to drive a minivan, it's tough to have enough space for everything that you need to take with you on the road. Base salary is just OK. Lots of time on the road away from the family.

    Advice to Management

Go back to the vehicle allotment or expand the vehicle options to include something a bit bigger that's not a minivan. Something like a Chevy Colorado or Honda Ridgeline would be good.

    Pros

the pay benefits and the tools you needed to do your job were second to none.

    Cons

you are as valuable to them as the last month you hit your quota. nail sales quota for a year or two straight and your golden but miss it one month and get ready cause if you do it again they will start talking about making some changes. hours are brutal and they run stores at a bare minimum of employees, since you are salary it falls on you. You will burn out on this job no doubt how long is up to you.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to how store managers would like to run the store. Every town and location is different and O-riellys and the others are blowing napa out of certain towns. you may not care so ill shut up its irrelevent
